本課程為品質管理與醫療品質的應用課程，從基本的品質概念、產品品質、服務品質、到醫療品質；以品質指標與測量，切入對於醫療品質的深入了解，包含病人端、醫師端、組織端。運用組織管理原理以及品質管理，將品質指標應用於風險校正、品質報告卡及論質計酬，國家報告卡、長期照護等。也包含從美國國家品質獎的卓越模式、美國新聞與世界報導之最佳醫院的方法學的、SNQ生技醫療品質獎、政府服務品質獎等的介紹與應用現況。由所上教師與所外校外專家學者，共同授課。
This course was designed for application of quality management and quality of care including quality of care concept, service quality, product quality to quality of care. Quality indicators are major focus to understand more about medical quality. Principle of organizational management and quality management are applied to quality measures for using risk adjustment, hospital quality report card, pay for performance, country report card and long-term care. Benchmarking is adopted and adapted from Malcomb Baldrige National Quality Award, U.S. News and World Report, Symbol of National Quality (Safety and Quality)as well as Government Service Quality Award. The basic introduction and application for the topics above will be covered by lecturers and guest speakers.
